Job Description Work with development team to understand product requirements; analyze, design, develop, test and implement web applications using experience with MySQL, Java, J2EE, Object Oriented technologies, Java MVC frameworks, JSF, XML, Spring, Hibernate and Struts; develop JUnit test cases; and work with QA team to resolve issues before release. Requires BS in computer science, information systems or engineering plus 5 years experience or MS in computer science, information systems or engineering plus 3 years experience.

Web/UI Developer

Position Web/UI Developer
Job Description Every day, we develop web-based applications for our brands Vayama and Budgetair that millions of travelers use to plan, book and experience trips they will remember forever. If you are a Web/UI Developer seeking new and exciting challenges where you can make a real impact, you'll want to be a part of this.

You will be assigned front-end projects related to the shopping, sale and processing of travel reservations. This will involve developing first class websites and services. In this role the you will develop numerous web based applications in HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript on JSP layer for travel related websites.
Job Responsibilities
  • Member of development team and working on travel related systems and processes
  • Design and build and support our core web systems, sites, and services
  • Be hands-on, yet think out of the box and with a business and growth hat on
  • Develop complex Web based applications on Java & JSP platform with MySQL backend
  • Develop new travel features to be exposed in our websites (dynamic packaging, calendar searches, etc.)
Qualifications
  • Minimum BS in computer science or related. MS preferred
  • 3-5+ years web based software development experience
  • Strong HTML5, CSS3, JQuery and Ajax skills, Javascript (we utilize a js-based travel scripting language)
  • Experience with either Java, JSP, .Net, or PHP development
  • Working knowledge of MySQL, Hibernate and JBOSS
  • Experience with Eclipse and Linux OS
  • SVN/code management
  • Experience with Spring or related framework and MVC concepts
  • Good debugging skills and experience using browser testing tools
  • Cross browser compatibility issues
  • (optional) converting Photoshop images to HTML pages
Compensation / Benefits This position is located at Travix Americas office in Mountain View. Java Software Engineer

Position Java Software Engineer
Job Description Airtrade International Inc. / vayama is looking to hire a Java Software Engineer to be part of our core development team. The engineer will be tasked with developing functionality for the vayama.com site or other website/applications of Airtrade International Inc. including both front end development using JSP and back-end development using Java. Airtrade International Inc. is an "open-source" shop and our platform includes linux, Java, JBOSS, PHP, mysql, hibernate, ehcache/memcache, pentaho BI suite, and other leading open source tools and systems. This position will report to our Development Manager and is based in Mountain View, CA.

Location: Mountain View, CA.
Qualifications / Requirements Note: Please make sure that you have the appropriate qualifications before applying.
  • Minimum BS in computer science or related.
  • 2+ years professional experience developing software
  • Strong abilities with Java programming language
  • Experience with JSP web development
  • Experience with application servers such as Tomcat or JBOSS
