Korean Air is one of Asia's leading airlines and a founding member of the Sky Team alliance. The airline now boasts more North American gateways than any other Asian carrier with 2 in Canada, Toronto and Vancouver, plus 11 in the US; Anchorage, Atlanta, Chicago O'Hare, Dallas / Fort Worth, Honolulu, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York JFK, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington Dulles. Travelers on Korean Air are connected via Seoul's new state-of-the-art Incheon International Airport to an equally impressive network of destinations across Asia including 19 cities in China, 16 in Japan, 16 in Southeast Asia, and many others elsewhere including Mumbai (Bombay) and Vladivostok. The airline has recently expanded to add even more leisure destinations such as Kathmandu, Denpasar (Bali), Siem Reap (Angkor Wat), Pattaya and Kota Kinabalu. For travelers heading to or from other cities in South Korea the airline flies to 14 different airports within the country, with many domestic flights operating out of Seoul's Gimpo Airport. My sister booked a flight to HongKong for vacation but our brother who has no family of his own and lives with her, has been diagnosed with colon cancer and needs immediate surgery this Thursday at a local hospital. Both Korean Airlines and the travel agency where ticket was purchased will not waive their hefty penalty charges. Similar incident happened previously to other family members while travelling in Shanghai, China on another airliner who waived such charge with sympathy.
I do not think the Korean Airlines has any human touch and deserves a rating from me.

always choose your travel agency very well, you would not really want to deal with those rip-off travel agents “”
