TAM Mercosur Airlines
TAM is now Brazil's largest airline and operates daily nonstop flights from both New York (JFK) and Miami to its hub at Sao Paolo's Guarulhos International Airport (GRU). The airline has also recently started other service directly to northern gateways in Brazil that greatly reduce the travel time to those destinations. TAM now offers daily nonstop flights between Miami and Manaus, gateway to the Amazon, with onward connections to Belem and Fortaleza. It additionally offers an attractive nonstop weekly flight on Sundays between Miami and the culturally fascinating city of Salvador de Bahia, home of capoeira and one of Brazil's wildest Carnaval celebrations.
