Athens, the capital and the largest city of Greece is served by the Athens Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport located at about 27 kms from the city center. An underground walkway connects the main terminal with the satellite terminal.
Various modes of transportation such as buses, taxis, Limo services and rail services are provided from the airport to help passengers get into the city. Metro lines are also provided connecting the airport and the city. The airport metro line is an extension of blue lines (line 3 ) that takes you to the downtown Syntagma and Monastiraki stations.
