Eat and drink where cheaply the locals do (specially students) and the beautiful, icon filled, churches are free to visit. Don’t miss the fun Russian ritual of the Baya, a hot steam bathhouse. The best ones offer caviar and vodka shots but plenty of cheap local ones abound. Look out for the Business Menu Lunch at posh restaurants during lunchtime for half the price of an evening meal.
