Once you have completed your reservation through Vayama a "Booking Verification" email will be sent to the email address provided by you during your booking. Typically the "Booking Verification" email is received within a few minutes following the completion of your booking. Once your credit card charge has been authorized by your credit card company, and the ticket(s) has been issued, you will receive a "Ticket Confirmation" email. This email will provide you with the ticket number(s) associated with your reservation as well as a full recap of your booking. Credit card authorization and other Vayama security checks can take up to one business day from the time the booking request is completed.
NOTE: Be aware that some email accounts might send the Vayama "Booking Verification" and/or "Ticket Confirmation" email to your "junk mail" or "spam" folder. If you have not received the above referenced emails within the time lines provide, check your "junk mail" or "spam" email folder for Vayama email communications.
In addition, Vayama charges a $100/person change fee for the service.
If you change your air itinerary, a new ticket must be issued.
Changes will NOT be allowed once the first travel date has passed.
Some fare rules do not allow any changes to be made, even with a fee. Some types of changes are not allowed on tickets at all. Here are some general restrictions:

All tickets purchased through Vayama are NONREFUNDABLE following ticket issuance.
The rules associated with the fares offered by Vayama generally DO NOT allow for changes to the original routing once tickets have been issued. However, in some rare cases, the fare rules may allow for routing changes. When applicable, Vayama processes the service fee at the time the booking is completed. A booking holds the seats associated with the itinerary but is not 'ticketed' immediately. Once the reservation is 'ticketed' then the fare will be processed and charged to the credit card. This means that in some cases two or more charges may appear on the credit card statement; one for the Vayama service fee; the other for the ticket(s).
You can view your itinerary and all other details associated with your booking 24/7. Simply go to any page on the Vayama site and click on the "my trip" link on the top right side of the page. Then enter your Vayama Trip ID and the email address associated with the booking. From within this same area you can also review travelers names, pricing, fare rules, and other miscellaneous information associated with your Vayama reservation. You do not need to have a Vayama account to access this information.

After completing your booking through Vayama you will see a "verification" page providing your "Vayama Trip ID". In addition, a "Booking Request Acknowledgement" email will be sent to the email address provided at the time of booking.

Electronic tickets, or "E-Tickets" are easy to use as well as safe and secure. Vayama and the airline's computer systems store your ticket information electronically. As a result, all you need to check-in for your flight is your government issued photo ID; typically a passport. Present your ID to the ticket counter agent. The agent will then access your booking information using your last and first name and issue your boarding pass. It's as simple as that.
NOTE: Although not required or necessary, Vayama strongly recommends that you print out a copy of your E-Ticket Confirmation email and bring it with you to the airport. By having this information with you, in the rare case where your booking information is not available to the ticket counter agent, your Ticket Confirmation email provides back up information, including your electronic ticket number(s).
Airline flight schedules and times are subject to change at any time. As a result, Vayama strongly recommends that you periodically check your itinerary within the "my trip" section of our website. If changes to your flight schedule have occurred, the information will be updated immediately within this section. For your convenience click here to access the "my trip" login page.
It is not necessary to contact Vayama or the airline in advance of departure. However, many airlines now provide advance check-in within 24hrs of departure through their websites. Check the applicable airline website(s) to determine if this service is available. If it is, you will need the "Airline Confirmation Code" for the associated airline. Vayama makes these codes available within both the "my trip" area and within the E-Ticket Confirmation email sent following ticketing.
Any time you cross an international border, you will need to provide proof of citizenship, typically in the form of a Passport. Passport and Visa requirements vary by destination and citizenship of the traveler.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct documents needed for travel to/from any international destination. If you do not have the required documentation you will be denied boarding at your departure point and/or into the country you are visiting. Important passport and visa information can be found on the Vayama website by clicking on "Travel Info" at the top of any page, then select either "passport" or "visa" from the drop-down menu provided.
Travelers using the Transit Without Visa (TWOV) or China Transit Program (CTP), do not require a visa to transit Canada providing they transit directly to/from the USA via Toronto(Terminal 1) or Vancouver and all travel is with Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge or Air Canada Express.
Any intra-Canada segments are considered entering Canada and are therefore not permitted under the TWOV/CTP program. The Traveler must be ticketed, confirmed, and be either through-checked or have available their onward flights boarding pass for travel on a non-stop flight to any third country within the same day of arrival and within the scheduled hours of the US In-Transit Pre-Clearance facility (USITPC) as they remain at the facility (in the transit area) during their connection time. Their onward international flight must depart Toronto (Terminal 1) or Vancouver before 24:00 on the day of arrival.

Post travel receipts can be requested by sending an email to email@example.com. Within the body of the email, please identify the Vayama Trip ID associated with the booking for which you are requesting a receipt. Every effort will be made to provide a response with the requested receipt within five business days following the request.

In most cases, it's not necessary to have your tickets reissued if there is a schedule change made by the airline. One major value of electronic tickets is that when necessary these changes are reissued automatically. Vayama will make every effort to inform you of any changes to your schedule in advance of your travel dates.
You can check the status of your itinerary 24/7 by accessing the "my trip" page on the Vayama site. If there have been any changes made by the airlines to your flight times or dates, the information is automatically updated within the "itinerary" section of this area. Rules for requesting seat assignments vary from airline to airline and may be based on the type of fare purchased. The most efficient way to request your seat assignments is to go to the airlines website. Although not all airlines sites provide an option for requesting advance seating, when available it allows you to view and select seats based on your preference. If this option is not available online, call the airline directly.
NOTE: Some airlines are now charging a fee for advance seat requests. While those airlines don't charge a fee when seat requests are made within 24hrs of departure, seat selection could be limited. When a fee is charged, the fee must be paid directly to the airline.

Due to differences in boarding pass systems, boarding passes may not always print out your name exactly as you provided when booking your travel. The name you provide when booking your travel is used to perform the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) watch list matching before a boarding pass is ever issued. As a result, small differences should not impact your ability to board your flight.
However, you should make every effort to ensure that the name provided when booking your travel matches the government ID that you will use when traveling. Small differences between the travelers ID, the travelers reservation information, and the boarding pass (such as the use of a middle initial instead of a full middle name or no middle name/initial at all, hyphens or apostrophes) should not cause a problem at the time of boarding.
Secure Flight is a behind-the-scenes process that the Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) and airlines collaborate on to compare the information you provide against government watch lists. The additional data elements that you may be asked to provide, such as date of birth and gender, serve to better differentiate you from individuals on the government watch list.
