Vayama ("vayama") pledges to protect you with our Privacy Policy which defines our policies on the collection, use and protection of personal information of vayama users. What kind of information we collect from you:

(a) when you are visiting our website

When you are browsing our website, you are not required to provide any personal information unless and until you choose to create an account with vayama, make a purchase or sign up for one of our other services.

We use a variety of technologies including session data, cookies, log files, and web beacons to better understand how our website is navigated, how many visitors click on certain pages, how long and how frequently visitors visit our website, the types of searches that occur, the browsers and computer operating systems used by our visitors and the Internet Protocol addresses from which visitors connect to our website. (b) when you are opening a vayama account

If you choose to create an account with vayama, you must provide your name, address, telephone number, email address, a unique login name, password, and a password hint to help you remember your password. This information is collected on the account sign-up form for several reasons including: personal identification; to complete airline and other reservations; to allow us to contact you for customer care needs; to customize the content of our website to meet your specific needs; and to make product improvements to our website.

When you visit vayama, we may assign your computer a "cookie" (a small, unique identifier text file) to help our site operate properly. For example, whenever you sign into your vayama account, we record your "username" in the cookie file on your computer. You can always choose not to receive a cookie file by enabling your web browser to refuse cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie. Cookies used by vayama are not tied to PII. However, if you refuse to accept cookies from vayama, you might not be able to access many of the travel tools offered by us.

You are in charge of your vayama account, which means that you can terminate your account or change your account information at all times by following the next steps.

How vayama secures your information

All personal information you provide to vayama is transmitted using SSL (secure Socket Layer) encryption. SSL is a proven coding system that lets your browser automatically encrypt information being sent between you and our site. SSL is utilized in the vayama site in my account and when you are purchasing travel.

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

(c) when you are purchasing products

In order to purchase travel and related services and products through our website, you must provide us with specific personal information such as your name, credit card number and expiration date, credit card billing address, telephone number, email address and the name or names of the person(s) traveling (if not you). We may also ask you for other personal information, such as your frequent traveler numbers. We need this information to process, fulfill and confirm your reservations and transactions.

If you are making a reservation for one or more travelers other than yourself, you will need to make sure that each of these other travelers agrees in advance and that you may disclose their personal information to us.

(d) when signing up for emails from vayama

Vayama possesses a number of opportunities for you to sign up to receive emails about special offers or pricing available through our site. You will need to provide an email address to us to receive these offers. However, you may choose at any time to no longer receive these types of e-mail messages by changing your communications preferences in the my accounts section of vayama. Here you will find the email address that you have registered and any email distribution lists that you have signed up for. At any time you may remove or change your email address and edit your email distribution list preferences.

We will not share, rent or sell any email addresses provided by you to vayama.

If you do NOT want to provide your information:

You can always choose not to provide your personal information to us; however some information about you is required in order for you to register on our website, purchase products and services, to ask us a question; or initiate other transactions on our website.

With whom we share your personal information:

For example: to provide customer care, issue documents, process credit cards, deliver tickets, ship items, for research, marketing, data processing, to measure the use of our site, to facilitate usage by a visitor, or evaluate your creditworthiness. We will share with these companies only that personal information which they need for providing services to us and they are not permitted to share or use the information for any other purpose including their own marketing purposes. These companies might be located outside the US. By submitting your personal data to us, you agree to the transfer, storing and processing of your data outside the US.

Vayama currently contracts with several online partners to help manage and optimize our internet business and communications. We use the services of a third party provider to help us collect data and measure the effectiveness of our advertising and how visitors use our Website. To do this, we use web beacons and cookies provided by the third party service provider on this website. The type of information we collect includes e.g., the product codes and prices for merchandise that visitors purchase, the pages visited, etc. By supplementing our records, this information helps us learn things like what pages are most attractive to our visitors, which of our products most interest our customers, and what kinds of offers our customers like to see. Although the third party service provider logs the information coming from our website on our behalf, we control how that data may and may not be used. Children's privacy:

Vayama does not sell travel or other services for purchase by children and does not knowingly collect information from people under the age of 18. If we become aware of the fact that a minor is attempting to submit personal information, we will inform the minor that he or she is ineligible to do so. We will then remove this information from our records.
