Shanghai is the largest and most populous city in China. Take the 7 minute 400 kilometer per hour Mag Lev train ride from the airport to the city center. Walk along the Bund, a waterfront boulevard with a beautiful collection of 1920’s art deco buildings, leafy French style suburbs and mock Tudor mansions that face the 21 century towers of the Pudong district. Shop till you drop on the pedestrian Nanjing road. The subway is a good way to explore the city.
