Air Burkina operates international and domestic flights in West Africa. Their main hub is at Ouagadougou Airport.
Founded in 1967, Air Burkina has been active for almost 50 years. Since September 2010, they have become the first French-speaking company in West and Central Africa to receive the IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) certification, which is awarded to companies that meet the Quality, Security, and Safety requirements in relation to air transport.

Air Burkina’s fleet consists of two Embraer 170 aircrafts. Each aircraft contains 68 seats total: 12 business class and 56 economy class.
All business class travelers will be in a comfortable cabin with personalized services such as access to the VIP lounge, a welcome-aboard drink, and luggage allowance of 50kg*. While on the flight, passengers will be served French cuisine with an African twist along with a variety of wines and champagnes selected by the Air Burkina team.
Economy class passengers can enjoy the comfort and friendly service provided by the staff of Air Burkina. Each passenger is allowed a luggage allowance up to 30kg*. In addition to this, passengers will enjoy top quality meals and their choice of beverages, including soft drinks and wine.
*Baggage allowance differs on certain routes. The 50kgs for Business Class/30kgs for Economy Class is the allowed luggage allowance on routes operated by Air Burkina (with exception on route from Ouagadougou and Abidjan: maximum allowed is 50kgs for Business Class and 40kgs for Economy Class). Products may differ on certain routes.
