Travel Regulations for Overseas Indian Nationals on Etihad Airways

Until June 30, 2020, travel regulations have been relaxed for Indian Nationals living abroad.

Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) card holders aged 0 - 20 or 50+ years old are now permitted to travel to India with an existing OCI card, even if they have renewed their passport. The existing OCI card must show their old passport number, and they must carry both passports when they travel.

OCI card holders between 21 and 49 years old are not required to register their OCI Card each time their passport is renewed. If their OCI card uses their old passport number, they must carry both passports and present these for verification at check-in.

Etihad Airways always recommend that guests comply with existing OCI guidelines and renew their OCI card as required by law.
