Our First Suite offers our guests uncompromised privacy behind closed doors. Each suite is designed with leather seating that converts to a 6-foot 8-inch fully flat bed. Inflight Chefs prepare gourmet indulgences from our a la carte menu, or signature grill, and passengers can choose from a selection of wines from the world’s finest vineyards, handpicked by our sommeliers. Each suite is equipped with a 23-inch TV with over 750 hours of the latest movies, shows, music, and interactive games, through noise-canceling headsets (*connectivity through mobile phone or WI-FI on select aircraft.) Turn-down service, inclusive of Do Not Disturb function and bedtime beverage is also available, along with a stylish loungewear, with all-natural mattresses, duvets, cotton sheets, pillows provided, and designer amenity kit to help you fresh up before arrival.
Our Business Flatbed is one of the most spacious cabins in the air. Each passenger is guaranteed a fully-flat bed with aisle access on every long-haul flight. A Food & Beverage Manager is onboard to assist travelers with recommendations from our Dine Anytime menu. Each seat comes with a 15.4-inch TV with over 750 hours of the latest movies, shows, music, and interactive games, through noise-cancelling headsets (*connectivity through mobile phone or WI-FI on select aircraft.) Passengers can also experience the extra comfort of flying as each seat is provided a full-size comforter, plump pillows, and a turn-down service on ultra-long haul flights with mattress, loungewear, and slippers. Designer amenity kit is also available with all your inflight essentials.
Our Economy Class seat gives our guests the personal space needed for increased comfort. Passengers can experience a tasty four-course meal, with a choice of up to three entrees, along with enjoying the onboard cafe service offering light snacks, a choice of teas, coffees and hot chocolate. Each seat is equipped with a 10.4 inch TV with over 750 hours of the latest movies, shows, music and interactive games, through noise-cancelling headsets (*connectivity through your mobile phone or WI-FI are available on select aircraft). Soft-fleece blankets and pillows, along with a complimentary amenity kit on long haul flights with socks, eyeshades, earplugs, as well as toothbrush and toothpaste are available. The Flying Nanny service is available on select long-haul flights, offering a helping hands for parents -whether it’s helping to get the children settled for bed, keeping them entertained or simply offering advice and support to parents.
All Etihad Airways guests flying to our U.S. destinations – Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Washington D.C. can now use Abu Dhabi International Airport’s U.S. Customs and Border Protection Facility located at Terminal 3.
This facility enables guests flying Etihad Airways to pre-clear the U.S. Customs and Border Protection formalities before boarding their flights in Abu Dhabi. On touchdown in the U.S., guests will be treated as though they are domestic arrivals. This means our guests are likely to have shorter connection times for onward flights in the U.S. with luggage arriving directly to the final destination. Travelers from the U.S., Canada and those eligible under the Visa Waiver Program can also experience shorter wait times. And with the addition of Automated Passport Control (APC) kiosks, U.S., Canadian and eligible Visa Waiver Program international travelers can experience even shorter wait times and faster processing when they use the Automated Passport Control (APC) kiosks at the airport.
A new visa counter has been launched at Abu Dhabi Airport to facilitate the visa application process and grant both transit and arriving passengers visas to Abu Dhabi within 15-30 minutes. The new counter is located at the Terminal 3 transit areaa, including activation of the new four-day, or 96-hour, transit visa for all nationalities travelling through Abu Dhabi International Airport. The visa counter sill issue several types of mission and tourist visas.
Visitor passports should be valid for a minimum period of 6 months.
Etihad guests on First and Business Class are offered free Wi-Fi and iPads on all US bound flights from Abu Dhabi, from April 2, 2017. Wi-Fi vouchers are provided to the passengers once onboard.
The NEW Etihad Airways First & Business Class Lounge opened at Los Angeles International Airport, on July 25, 2016. Along with the Premium Lounges in Washington D.C. and New York (JFK) airports, the new Los Angeles lounge is the airline’s third dedicated hospitality haven eligible for passengers prior to departure.

Our Residence, First, Business Class, Redemption First & Business Class guests can use the service when Abu Dhabi is the origin, stopover or final destination of their journey. Guests travelling in our Residence cabin, will continue to receive our complimentary chauffeur service in Residence destinations across our network. With a fleet of luxury cars, our executive car service offers the same level of service and comfort on the road that guests are used to on our aircraft. Our high-quality chauffeur service only uses unbranded vehicles for a safe and discreet service.
From 3 July 2017, a paid airport transfer service will replace our complimentary Chauffeur Service across all other destinations. This new service will be available to our guests across all cabins, and includes a wide range of vehicle choices with options tailored to suit individual requirements. Guests will also be able to earn Etihad Guest Miles on every journey.
Tickets purchased before 3 July 2017, for travel after the new service is in place, will not be affected by the change. However, if a date change or a reissuance of the ticket is required the new policy will be applied.

Indian citizens are now eligible for a visa on arrival in the United Arab Emirates, including Abu Dhabi. To qualify, travelers need to have a US Visitor Visa or Green Card and passport should have at least six months validity. The UAE visa on arrival is for a maximum stay of 14 days and costs AED 100. Travelers can extend the duration of their stay by an additional 14 days once only, by paying a renewal fee of AED 250.
