Checked baggage allowances for flights to and from the United States and Canada follow a piece concept (2 x 32 kg pieces for first and Business Class; 2 x 23 kg pieces for Economy Class; all with a maximum dimension of 62 inches/158 cm).
Musical instruments and most sports equipment may be checked within standard checked luggage allowances. Wheelchairs are checked as complimentary extra luggage items.
Infants under two may travel on an adult's lap without a booked seat and baby bassinets can be booked in advance. All infants receive extra checked luggage, carry-on luggage, and a stroller baggage allowance, plus parents are gifted a special baby travel kit of amenities.
