TAME or TAME EP Linea Aerea del Ecuador is the flag carrier of Ecuador. Found in 1962, its headquarters is based in Quito and their main hub is Mariscal Sucre International Airport (UIO). The name TAME (Transportes Aéreos Militares Ecuatorianos). TAME currently has domestic, international, and charter flight services to Ecuador, Argentina, Colombia, United States, Cuba, and Peru.
TAME first started as a military airline and was originally formed by the Air Force of Ecuador. In 1966, they began operating international flights to Havana, Panama, and Santiago de Chile. In 2011, TAME became a state owned company.
TAME's current fleet consists of 11 aircraft: one Airbus A319-100, three Airbus A320-200, three ATR 42-500, three Embraer 190AR, and three Quest Kodiak 100.
