    This is my second bad experience with Air Baltic. That’s why I decided to write a review. The first time I had a direct flight from Berlin to Vilnius and the plane was overbooked, so they sent me via Warsaw, so instead of 1.5 hour travel time I ended up traveling for 5 hours. Second time I had a direct ticket from Oslo to Vilnius. My flight was canceled and I was offered either a refund or a different non-direct flight in the evening instead of morning. I chose a refund and still waiting for it. The representative told me that it will take at least 6 weeks to get a refund! I will never again book a flight with this airline.

    While booking electronic ticket on Internet for my father, I made a mistake writing my first name instead of his. I discovered it immediately after the booking and called the sales office in Lithuania asking to change the name. They said this would costs around 75 euro. This is more than the price I paid for one way ticket Vilnius-Copenhagen. No account given to the fact that I acted promptly.
    When I asked whether I could turn to somebody else at the company, I was told e-mail of the customer service office. I sent them a polite e-message and probably a dozen of reminders, but never received an answer during two weeks.
    The customer service appears to be as bad as at the worst low-fare companies (many of them already went bankrupt). My advice: If having possibility, use other companies.

    I was flying with my wife on transit flights to Rome from Riga BT443, BT631 on to Rome. Both flights took off with a delay of at least 30 minutes. In Riga, from one aircraft to another ran like sprinters. When arrived in Rome, it turned out that the luggage was left in Riga. In Rome, we were going to celebrate New Year together with friends. Due to the different climatic zones in St. Petersburg and Rome, I had to buy my wife fitting weather clothes not to spoil the New Year. Luggage at the hotel were taken after 5 days, just so I dragged him to the airport. Back we flew the same flight. Same thing happened. luggage was sent instead of St. Petersburg to Helsinki. A week later I had to go after him in Pulkovo, although the airline has committed, in such cases, organize the delivery of luggage to the home customer. I sent a letter to the airline. But I haven’t receive an answer so far. If you are thinking to use the services of that airline, then do not carry luggage.
